“UFO Drawings” 2021 – 2022

This series evolved naturally from the Ebony work. But, these eight drawings are quite a bit different in content and context. They are basically sci-fi images of floating cities or very large scale spacecraft mirrored by the shadows they cast on the ground plane below. These came about as I thought about doing something less abstract and more architectural — albeit imaginary and highly conceptual — a bit more in line with much of the architecturally inspired artwork my past career. Some of the drawings suggest systems of locomotion, again imaginary. And, there’s some humor in the images.
