A local public art commission project completed in 2004, these four large murals cover the interior surfaces of skylights in the Burlington International Airport in Vermont. Layers of acrylic paint alternating with lines and icons drawn with lumber crayon, graphite and colored pencil were placed on the raw sheetrock surfaces.
Each mural combines a color theme with a specific content including: alphabets and notational systems from around the world (red), pictographs and icons from art and cultural history (green), scientific diagrams and formulas (yellow) and cosmology (blue).
